LANDSCAPES WITHIN THE BOX
My Role
Concept and Spatial designer

Project Overview
The initial plan from the manager was to follow a traditional pop-up market format using rented tables. However, she felt this approach was too plain and lacked a distinctive brand identity. We then explored an alternative concept of transforming the market into an exhibition-style event to create a stronger visual impact, but the cost of renting display cabinets was far beyond the budget. As a result, the challenge was to design a creative, low-cost solution that could still highlight the brand’s uniqueness and stand out from typical market setups.
We decided to use white cardboard boxes as an alternative to expensive display cabinets and invited both vendors and artists to personally stack and customize the boxes. This approach allowed vendors to go beyond simply setting up stalls — they became actively involved in building the market space itself. As a result, the event was transformed into more than just a marketplace for selling products; it became a platform for independent brands and artists to connect, collaborate, and share ideas.
